Kuvaverkko was founded by local and independent entrepreneurs in January 2000. This year marks Kuvaverkko’s 25th anniversary. Today, our unique photography network, consisting of local photography studios and over a hundred professional photographers, has grown into Finland’s largest photography company.
As a carbon-neutral school photography company, Kuvaverkko actively makes environmentally conscious choices in its operations. Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our EcoCompass certification. Since 2019, Kuvaverkko has been the first photography company in Finland to produce photographs without chemicals, ensuring that no hazardous waste or carbon dioxide emissions are generated in the process. Our high-quality photo paper is also FSC-certified. Because we photograph children and young people across Finland, we strive to make positive environmental contributions, such as planting forests in Finland.
Kuvaverkko is also a pioneer in utilizing digital services throughout the entire photography process. Thanks to our digital workflow, our delivery times are among the fastest in the industry, allowing our customers to view their photos exceptionally quickly—sometimes in as little as two business days. We continuously develop our diverse online store and product selection to provide the best possible products for our customers.
It is our privilege to capture the most important moments in the lives of those we photograph. Kuvaverkko is there for children during key milestones, from daycare and school years to hobbies and celebrations, such as confirmation ceremonies and graduations. The memories of a child’s growth, siblings, friends, and groups are truly invaluable.
